Whats you opinion on TV censorship in your country and how do you compare it with others?

I remember having fun once, it was terrible...

BULLSHIT! Why is it that gory movies only get 14+ and a quick shot of boobs gets R? Chrissakes, the parents that vote for this are like, berderline retarded. Why should Sex be worse than mutliation? Well, if there is a snapshot of just some boobies it would automatically get an MA15+. For it to get an R rating, either a single Sex scene would last a long time or if there was a completely naked body on the screen. Whats really stupid is that as soon as male genitalia appear on screen its classed as porn.

I like to watch movies from around the world sometimes and usually the south american and european movies are pretty explicit when it comes to nudity. thats why most of it is R.

The problem is all these religious people who cannot handle it when they see somekind of Lusterous appearence on the screen. Becuase "Lust" is one of the 7deadly sins. C'mon, preists are human too, they probably get the same euphoric feeling as anyone else who watches nudity on TV.

... and yes, there is Sex ED at my school (unfortunately)

i have no problem with nudity or Gore in movies. But I have to agree that the rules concerning this are over-the-top and completly retarded.

But I make two expections:

1. Remove those stupid 'tuuuu' when somebody curses, only strenghtens the fact of the Curse itself and it is unbelievable annoying.

2. Nudity and Sex must be accepted in films and TV (cfr Sex ED). Though there are exceptions, some movies are really too explicit for certain younger kids. I think here for example about Antichrista and The Idiots by Lars Von Trier.

yeah, the bleeping noise is Far more offensive to me than any actual swear word

i never quite got why most tv stations have to censor SOME racial Epithets, but not all of em. i didn't know some were more offensive than others, they're all just slang words

In the US, its pretty ridiculous.

I was watching Kill Bill and Rambo on TV not long ago.

They kept bleeping out swear words and putting stupid audio dubs over them. When it came to graphic violence? No problem.

GOD knows children will go Insane if they hear Fuck or Bitch, but if they see a woman filleting a dozen guys with a Sword, no problem.
