Their career began in Vizcaya (Spain) at the end of the 90´s when the guitar player Pedro J. Monge decided to form a band with the singer/guitar player Carlos Escudero. After the embodiment of the bass player Oscar Cuadrado, began the songwriting of the first Vhäldemar´s tracks.
Excited with the good musical direction of the first songs, the line - up was completed with the drummer Edu Martínez who contributed with his experience to the band. The band entered into Rock Studios to record 3 tracks which helped them to sign with Arise Records, the first result of this contract was ``Fight to the End ´´, the album was recorded at Rock Studios & mastered at New Sin Studios in Italy.
"Fight to the End" was released in April 2002. The band was voted as best newcomer band in the brazilian magazine Rock Brigade. The band played numerous gigs/festivals and they also got the chance to support Lost Horizon (8 dates) during their Tour in Spain.
The band decides to record their new album "I Made My Own Hell" in September 2003 at Rock Studios.The cover artwork has been painted by J.P.Fournier.

The new album shows us the typical elements in their music, great vocal lines, furious guitars & heavy drums. "I Made My Own Hell" will be released on 17.11.03.
