Coming from a small town with a very ‘not-so-small-town’ attitude, Until Dawn is on their way into the vastly growing Metal scene. Until Dawn is best classified a Melodic Metal genre. With what started out as 2 guys getting together at a New Years Eve Party to jam in an upstairs loft, ended up becoming the only local Metal band in the city of Fort McMurray, that they all call home.
Worrell (Luke) and White (Steve), met at the party Worrell was hosting, and while the rest of the guests continued to party downstairs the two started jamming to tunes White had created with Worrell coming up with the drum beats. Soon after, Worrell’s brother, Deke, joined in the band to add another guitar to the group, with buddy Luke Davis to joining in with bass. It did take some time to all come together however, after a couple auditions for a lead vocalist, they finally found vocalist Adam Macleod, at yet another party the Worrell’s were hosting. It was an instant fit and the group has never looked back! The personality in this band can rile any group of people.
They have such an energy, that whether they are performing in their own home town in front of hundreds of fans or they’re out of town where they don’t know a soul, they can have you getting off your seat and joining in with the party in front of the stage before you even know your feet are moving.
Performing on stage is what this band truly loves to do and it shows in all their faces while they play. It’s like they are sharing a joke on stage that the rest of the crowd was left out of.
