Биография : Ultima Requiem

Ultima Requiem has been founded by Loïc Malassagne (Lux and Umbra Vocals, Keyboards, Bass, Classical and Electric Guitar, Drums and Percussion) near Pau and Paris in France.
He has begun to make music with his band Invading Chapel in 1996. His need to experiment a mix of several styles with classical elements and lyrical voices comes from passion for the artists as Klaus Nomi, Nina Hagen or Era. Much of his inspiration comes also from artists as The Sisters Of Mercy, Black Sabbath or Killing Joke and Baroque period with Henry Purcell or George Frideric Handel. He has begun to use his counter tenor and bass baritone voice on this modern music in 2001. After a first album simply titled as "Ultima Requiem", is a concept album that came out in 2002, based on Farinelli's existence as a magnificient singer, man and "castrato". This album gets chronicled in various magazines (Elegy, Hard'n'Heavy...) and "Triomphe Céleste" chosen to figure on "Les Disques De La Crypte"'s compilation. In 2008, the title "Era Mundi" (first version) appears on the french compilation Pavillon 666.
