Torden is a solo-project for Course of Fates drummer
Per-Håkon Søderberg. He also used to play in Tyrant Imperia/Vetrarnott (Where the nickname Torden came from). In the spring 2004 Torden made a couple of songs for Vetrarnott but they where rejected because Vetrarnott changed their style from Viking-Black Metal to Cyber-Death Metal. During the summer the same year he recorded those songs himself with some help from his good friend Anders Spæren , and came out with the demo Under Månen. The songs got good critics from his friends and people he knew from the local Black Metal scene in Fredrikstad, Norway. One year later he recorded a new demo called Hate.

Winter 2006 Torden planned to perform a consert with Iljadir, but it never happened. Spring/early summer 2006 Per-Håkon put Torden on hold to consentrate fully on Course of Fate. Yet he did not feel Torden was complete, so he recorded one last demo to put Torden to rest with. The result became Insults, a 6 track Grind-Core demo where he non-stop mocks music genres, sexualities and poltitical views like; EMO, teenages who cut themselves to get attention, anarchists and pedophiles!!
