Biografie : The Texas Drag Queen Massacrebearbeite
The Texas Drag Queen MassacreThe Texas Drag Queen Massacre (often abbreviated to TDQM) started in November 2003. Me and drummer Stitches met at a party and became great friends due to our mutual love for horror movies and punk music. Me and Stitches quickly started planning a band that would take after Marilyn Manson, FDQ and The Murderdolls. Face quickly joined the band and we’d practise at the Pamp Hill Village Hall in Wimborne...

In March 2004 we played our first gig at the Queen Elizabeth SchoolThe Texas Drag Queen Massacre, Wimborne and then started gigging round our local area after gaining a bassist by the name of Andy Cadaver. The gigs were fun and the band gained a small but dedicated following. In August 2004 we released our first album "Violence Is Golden" that was only ever sold at the shows round our home towns...

In 2006 we got a second guitarist by the name of Worm. He brought a fiercer and more technical feel to the band. After an absence due to illness Andy Cadaver never returned as bassist in the Massacre and was replaced by Giblets. With Worm on guitar and Giblets on bassThe Texas Drag Queen Massacre, we then recorded our second album "His And Hearse". This album really pushed the band forward in our career with cult classics such as Dead Girls and Rave From The Grave turning out to be fan favourites...

The band spent all of 2006 touring and writing new material. Then in early 2007 Stitches, Face and Worm decided to part ways with me and Giblets. Eager to carry on and release the new material I recruited Spazm, Fangz and Needles to replace the lost band members. In June 2007 we released "Skele-Tunes". The album sold really well and songs such as Just Dig It and Over Spilt Blood soon became historic TDQM songs...

After the release of "Skele-Tunes" Spazm was replaced by Kodi Kasper and Giblets was replaced by Skitzo. The band toured with this line-up and gained a world wide fans base. In October 2008 we recorded "Sick Little Things". Due to musical/organisational differences Kodi never got to be on the final album and was replaced by bassist, Skitzo on guitar. The album sold well but the band was coming to an end...

With no stability and generally being fucked over, the band soon parted ways. We continued to tour for while with Joe Crow playing bass but this wasn't enough to keep the Massacre alive...

The 6 years I worked on TDQM I was happy. I had great times from day one and I'd never take any of them back...
