The Incarnation was formed in the autumn of 2004 under the name Dead By Dawn and during the following four years Dead by Dawn developed from a rock n’ roll band with death and thrash metal influences into a band that played their own unique brand of death metal. In this time-period the band played numerous gigs in the Gothenburg area, recorded a video for the song Shackled, and released several demos up until the summer of 2009 when they felt that it was time for a change. This is when The Incarnation was born…

The Incarnation exists for one reason and that is to play raw and relentless Death Metal. Death Metal influenced by bands such as Morbid Angel, Deicide, Slayer, Possessed, Autopsy, Repulsion, Entombed and Bloodbath just to name a few.

Where does The Incarnation stand today? Well, they´ve just released their debut EP Possessed by the Bizarre on the independent label Dead Tree Music and are planning to spend the better part of 2011 playing live up until the beginning of 2012 when it’s time to record their first full length album.
