The Frost was born in winter 2004/2005 as one man band in Bjelovar, Croatia. The idea was around for some years, but couldn't come to realization until then. The person behind the band is Gorgor. The Frost follows the line of traditional old school Black metal sound, describing it's own sound as Pure Misanthropic Black metal without any compromises and with a touch of depressiveness. With the first snow in February 2005. The Frost recorded three songs and released it's first self-produced MCD «In Conspiracy With Nature» for promotional purposes. Due to the limited technical possibilities a drum machine was used, but this will not be a case in the future. During 2005 The Frost collected a lot of positive and very good reviews and did some interviews in underground Black metal scene from all around the world. After that, Irminsul records from Germany released The Frost «In Conspiracy With Nature» on tape in summer 2005. In the begining of 2006. Gorgor finished recording the second demo of The Frost called «Damned and Forgotten». And again, it is self-released and self-produced five tracks demo recorded during March 2006. released on professional CD format + three bonus tracks from the first demo by Kerzakraum/Nerbilous production from South Korea with different cover artwork.
