There are things which comes from an inner dimension, things that you cannot explain if not with your ability to dream and to see beyond the ordinary world. Symbiosis is born to make you feel these feelings and emotions, Symbiosis is a bridge towards another world.

The first steps from this project have been taken in 2004 in Florence (Italy), with the first experiments of making an electronic and delicate music inspired by the greatest forces of Nature. Symbiosis' creator, Valerio, loves taking long walks alone, among the beautiful woods and mountains of Northern Italy, and taking inspiration from a world that seems to have been forgotten nowadays, but it is the only living dimension for a real human being, connected with forces unseeable yet so powerful. Also reading and interest in philosophy and in art are other sources of inspiration for Symbiosis' music.

As for the musical influences, Symbiosis will always try to build up a sound more and more original, without being the "clone" of nobody else. However, this does not mean that there are not artists which are admired by Symbiosis for their power to create other worlds with their music creations. Artists like Mortiis, Burzum, Ulver, Jääportit, Tronus Abyss, Vinterriket, Aghast, MZ.412, Neptune Towers, Nest, Brian Eno and others as far as atmospheric music is concerned. Also the more eerie side of black metal music has been a great source of inspiration, even if in Symbiosis' music, at least for the moment, you won't find any metal at all.

Now, at the gates of 2006, the first demo has been released: "Passages", containing three long tracks of an original way to make ambient music. Spiritual, symbolic and devoted to Nature and dreams. A symbiosis between two worlds.
