Stoneburstis a Thrash & Stoner Metal band, based in Lyon, France, and created in 2004. At that time the band, then going by the name Chronosfear, was into a kind of Melodic Doom Metal not far from Paradise Lost's style.Following some line up changes and a musical evolution, the band settles in 2007 with Mike on drums, Nico on bass,David on lead vocals and Chewbee and Kal both on guitars.In 2008, the band chooses a name more consistent with its new musical style as well as the new line up’s affinities and becomes STONEBURST.The band is now ready to get on stage.The first concerts were held in April 2008 at the Lyon’s Hall and at Millery’s Underground Metal Festival along side many other bands such as Obnoxious, The Oath, Blockheads, Tenebrum Infectus, FataAgony, Zero Point, Artefact, Otargos, Mental Supuration, SvartCrown, Agnosis, etc.Today,Stoneburst keeps writing and composing new music while waiting to get back on stage as soon as October along side Ultra Vomit and No Return.
