Biography : Resonator

Resonator originally started when David Laverty wanted to create a band, a band that would play all forms of true underground metal. Getting one of his best friends, Leo Jacklin, to play rhythm guitar was what was needed to start the band.

Unfortunately Leo Jacklin started to lose interest and passion in the band's music at around the 15th to 18th of March 2009, and for the sake of everyone in Resonator, decided that it was best to leave the band, and is still missed to this day by members.

After Leo's departure, Christopher Rosiak was able to fit the bill as the new rhythm guitarist and joined the band as a result.

Elias Aldred Macbeth was the first to be contacted, after Leo and David created Resonator, to join as the bassist and later became the main vocalist.

Opie also joined the band as the keyboardist and recommended that the band follow in one particular genre to describe the band. Symphonic Death metal became the clear and best choice for Resonator since Resonator incorporate low tone death and thrash vocals with synth, all with a emphasis on melodic riffs.

Resonator has gone through two drummers, including Oli Smith who around the beginning of 2009 left Resonator for his other band on good terms with everyone in Resonator. Oli has been replaced with Liam Young, after the band decided he was the best suited drummer, from the set of drummers being auditioned at the time, for Resonator.

While the search for a bassist continued, Resonator drummer Liam Young was able to get in contact with local musician Amy Jarman for a opportunity to be Resonator's new bassist.

However, Amy was unable to continue in Resonator and shortly left. Resonator has expressed that they miss Amy and that they are willing to have her back with Resonator anytime when she is ready.

So far Resonator has 4 recorded songs on their E.P., "Sporadic", which has recently been recently released and is available at Resonator shows.
