Formed in 1989 with the same three members which are in the band today, Oomph! refused to have any set sound, and to be catEgorized. Continuously reinventing themselves album to album, Oomph! is said to be the "most revolutionary figures of the German scene." Even Rammstein confesses that Oomph! has massively inspired them. Oomph's 2001 "Ego" album is said to be their best effort thusfar, and certainly demonstrates a large growth in musical ability. 2004's "Wahrheit oder Pflicht" has proved to be another excellent addition to the Oomph! catalogue.
