Munarheim is a band that after several experiments which ranged from pure Folklore, (Examples; (Des Wirtin's Tochterlein, Der Krieger), to Pagan metal, (example; In the Shadow of Yggdrassils) In the end managed to create its own unique style, which is inspired by bands like Dornenreich, Empyrium, Nocte Obducta and other pagan, folk and black metal bands. After months of hard work we finally produced songs like "Herbst" and especially "Hexentanz", which we feel should be the basis for our further musical endeavors. In the stylistical sense we try to combine the anger of black metal with acoustic, avant-gardistic elements as well as with melancholic and epic sounding melodies. We call the result of these efforts "Melodic Darkfolk". Musically as well as lyrically we want that our songs transfer to you the emotional moments that we experience from Natur, phantasy and the new things we meet in day to day life. We want to induce you to dream, think and express your emotions. This we want because such emotions, feelings and phantasies stand for one of the last bastions we still hold in a world full of power hunger, blind obedience and mental poverty. This is the only way that we can still change something! Live!
