Morgar was founded in spring 2009 by Luca Saletta and Fabio Heydecker in Winterthur. After a while Phil Link joined as first guitarist. A little later Nici Weissmann came as singer and 2nd guitarist. They started writing songs all together and after two month the first concert was announced. The audience was sold on the sound they heard. First, the genre was the more the less Death Metal with Black Metal influences. Later they start to decide that it is Death-/Thrash Metal what they want to do, and that's what they're doing until now with influences from Slayer and Lamb of God. Just a few lyrics transmit a message, some of them are just filld with splatter and the others are tales of several real wars or fictive wars. After a year, the band decided to take a demo tape, that should be announced for the new year.
"When Morgar enters the stage, the war has already begun!".
