Morbid's biography

Morbid is a band that lived rather short, presumably between 1987 and 1988. It is a band with a short career but with a tremendously huge impact on the then developping Black metal scene. Eventually leading to Dead joining Mayhem in 1988. In September of that same year they released one more demo "Last Supper" which was immediatly pretty different than the previous sound, more in the direction of Trashy Death or Deathy Trash.
Many former members of Morbid would later appear on bands such as Entombed for instance. An influencial band that became rather cult because of the suicide of Dead on April the 8th 1991.
Though just before Dead's death they have worked together on the "Death execution" '7' which was set for a release somewhere in 1991, but it never got finished and was therefore never officially released.
Another note on the releases has to be made, everything stated below are the releases, that are seen as 'official' by the band themselves, everything else are bootlegs, and the numerous rehearsal tapes circulating in the underground tape trading scene aren't classified as official either. All the LP's and vinyls released in the nineties and the years after by the Italian bootleg label Reaper Records are all bootlegs.
