Mareritt is the project of Banehogg. The evil hymns are written and performed by me in total soltitude.

Mareritt aims to spread sorrow and hatred through diabolical Black Metal in the old vein.

Mareritt is not the essence of me, but the Demon that possess me. I am a Slave to the Demon. People may laugh at this, but they do not understand. It is only recently that humanity left the concept of unearthly creatures. There is more between heaven and earth than we may know.

The spirits are there, as they have always been.
