Biography : Lost At Last

From the ashes of the lengendary Heavy Duty arose Lost at Last. At first more experimental, but more and more drawn, day by day to the core of heavy metal. The original line-up of the self proclaimed “Best Heavy Metal Band in The World” was Rock Demon – bass, Tony King – guitar, Mr Heinemeyer – guitar and Horgh – drums; all on vocals. They released bath ep in 94, and in 95 Horgh decided to follow a different path (Immortal, Pain etc.). Unlike most metal bands from Bergen in the early and mid nineties, Lost at Last did not pursue the extreme. While other bands showed their Kiss inspiration by putting on makeup, Lost at Last tried to make accessible heavy metal with a healthy dose of rock'n'roll. After the usual row of drummers, we settled on Ronnie Dane. We recorded our first full-length “come.to/lostlatlast” with Jørgen “Duperman” Træen. We did the “Rebirth of Heavy Metal 2000” tour with Pawnshop and Syndicate, and a UK tour in 2001. In 2002 we completed our album at Mansion Studios (Pawnshop, Gehenna). It's our definition of Heavy Metal; it's heavy metal to the bone baby! The album has yet to be released. Last year we continued gigging, with dates all across Norway, including a prestigious spot at Norways biggest metal festival: Inferno. What we sound like? We've been described as a mix between Entombed and Turbonegro, somewhere in the middle of Machine Head and Monster Magnet, raised on Judas Priest and Black Sabbath. The world's greatest heavy metal band: Lost at Last.
