At the eve of new developments in the city of Groningen; in the north area of Holland…Kelt left the epic/black metal band Maliën somewhere in april 2002, in which he was active at from the very beginning (end of 1998). This, to think well-grounded through which musical direction to choose and to look at the horizon quietly.

Also Swerc joined in to occupie some positions within the band to add some rage and distortion.

During the year 2003 Krocht grew futher and became more and more a strong vertebrate. Sounds and spheres where created and recorded with the help of the 8-track digital recorder.

In the end Besiect was asked due to his use of vocals to give together with Swerc an extra dimension to Krocht. This creature had already build up a status as the vocalist of some old school local BM bands and is with this use of throat a very strong pander in the progress of Krocht.

In the winter of 2003/2004 everything got colour and shape; Krocht could stretch his wings and back; held up his head highly and "Actum" became a fact...

Though after the disappearance in the fog of Besiect during a raid...Krocht had to look around for a new outpost. At spring 2006 Gheest of the marsh Gheestenland was engaged underneath it's wings and thoughts and options of both sides got sound and structure.

An epos called "Vaandeldrager" had started a new aeon...
