It's not a stretch to say Kingdoms has covered a lot of ground in a short time. Forming in the summer of '08, the band released their first EP for free online that fall, which went on to notch over 15,000 downloads. This plus extensive gigging across Ontario and strong word-of-mouth buzz gained the attention of both the Underground Operations booking agency and label, as well as sponsors such at PeterSaysDenim and Rockstar Energy Drink. After a spring tour with Greeley Estates and a run of summer festival dates including Cutting Edge & SCENEFest, on September 29th Kingdoms dropped their first label release, the 'Daughters Of Atlas' EP, which debuted at #90 on the Canadian Billboard 200. The band followed this up with a CD release tour supporting Silverstein and Ten Second Epic, and opening dates for Protest The Hero, A Day To Remember, Bring Me The Horizon and Every Time I Die. Kingdoms is currently writing their first full-length album, actively seeking US and international label support, and planning full-time touring starting early 2010.
