Biography : Internal Void

Internal Void, a classic doom band returns! Unearthed is the second album from this cult legend! After the release of their debut Standing On The Sun (on Hellhound/Nuclear Blast, 1992), Internal Void went into hibernation. They have now emerged from their hiatus, a more powerful, heavy band. Unearthed was recorded by Chris Kozlowski (Spirit Caravan, Pentagram, Melvins) in their hometown of Maryland (Doom Capital) over the last year. Unearthed truly represents the potential of which Internal Void are capable.

Internal Void are definitely not newcomers to the scene. They were sweating it out on tour with Saint Vitus in 1993 before the majority of these so-called "stoner-rock" bands had taken their first bong hit! Their longevity and dedication to heavy music will now be respected and recognised.

Unearthed is one of those recordings that immediately gives you a feeling you are listening to an album destined to be a classic. Music that is beyond a passing trend, yet at the same time looked at as a reference point for others to follow in the future. Very inventive songwriting, killer riffs and DOOM! DOOM! DOOM!! From start to finish this is a very heavy, bluesy, rocking album (including a Stray cover!).
