Biography : Immemorial (PL)

The band, Immemorial was established in 1997 in the Polish pomeranian town of Elblag. After a year of the band"s rehearsals, the first material from the band "Ius Primae Noctis" was recorded at the infamous Selani Studios in Olsztyn (circa July/August 1998 - home studio of VADER, BEHEMOTH, DECAPITATED ect..). The above mentioned demo contains almost 40 minutes of music upheld in the melodic death/black metal tradition. The band also recorded a video-clip of the track, "Betrothal With The Death". The music which constitutes "Ius Primae Noctis" gained posotive criticism and approval in reviews in both the mainstream, as well as the underground music press. Beyond that, one of the (afore mentioned) tracks, "Betrothal...." appeared on a compilation CD entitled "Blood To Come" vol.8, from the magazine "Thrash"em All". Immemorial performed live and presented themselves incredibly well at many well-received concerts, in the company of such bands as Trauma, Demise, Yattering, Mortis Dei, Non Opus Dei, Ad Noctum, Ash Devili and others. In December of 2000 the band immortalized their second album, "Monologue" ( again, at Selani Studios, having their record released by Conquer Records, in 2001). This time around, it is 40 minutes of raw music, of which no-one cannot categorize stylistically-speaking. The band now created a video-clip for the track, "A Nightmare". This track was registered on the "Blood To Come" vol.14. again of the metal magazine, Thrash"em All. In 2001, the band show-cased their barnd of music at the Dying Art Open Fest. (This took place in Rusocin on the 24-25 August), where the band where spotted by Conquer Records and went on to sign a contract. Towards the end of 2001 the then vocalist, Marta Meger, left the band due to personal reasons, and was replaced by the current vocalist, Karolina Czertowicz. The band played a few shows in Poland with the new vocalist, and then continued on to play some European dates with the likes of Yattering, Devilyn and Hell-born and Mess Age, where the band was well received by both their native Polish fans and those fans abroad. In September of 2002 the band gained in a new bassist, Frost (ex of Behemoth,Heyfestos and Sons Of Serpent). With this line-up the band went on to work on their current album, "After Deny" and now plays shows in Europe to promote "Monologue". After a few great shows, including Benediction, Konkhra, and others, the band has closed itself in the rehearsal hall, where they are working on the new album. March will see the next recording session (again at Selani Studios under the watchful eye Of Szymon Czech). Unfortunately the recording session had to be split and spread over a few months due to the intensively busy lives of each of the mebers of the band and so will continue until August of 2003. In the meantime Immemorial takes part in a few shows, (amongst which they play with Centinex) where they begin to promote their new material, which already as cnocert material has been positively received by the listening public. Until January of 2004 the band has been reparing very intensively for the sharp promotion via shows of the new material, which is released by Conquer Records. The European tour will be supported by them under name of Final Reistance Tour "04 at which the band will perform alongside DIMENSION ZERO. Also in January the band will have an unexpected line-up change - Mlody (guitar) will bow out of the band, who cannot level his personal life with the demands of Immemorial. His place will be taken by the current bassist of the band, Frost, and the role of bassist will be taken by Firan of Trauma, on a sessional basis
