biografía : Helalyn Flowers

What is it about Rome that transformed Max and N0emi into total human-defective hybrids ? This… we may never know !
In 2004, it was decided that a drastic lobotomy was a last resort to eradicate their chronic allergy to the world's pathetic artificiality.
It was the drive on an immense self-destructive instinct that led both Italian artists to erase their nu-metal past and to give birth to the Electro-Alienating Beat Rock band known as… Helalyn Flowers.

It only took 2 self-produced singles (“Disconnection” and “E-Race Generation”) to conquer the music world, spread their sonic virus through the net and build up a very strong, expanding and eclectic fan-base. The band immediately received recognition from much respected magazines like Italy's famous rock/metal magazine “Flash”, British's Kaleidoscope and Germany's Sonic Seducer magazine. Their power blend of music brought them comparisons to
bands as diverse as NIN, Orgy and The Prodigy while their empowering female vocals builds an eloquent sonic bridge to Garbage, Evanescence, or even Bjork. In the same short period, their song “Voices” became their first big club hit across the world and contributed to their ascension as one of the most-wanted unsigned newcomer bands on the famous VampireFreaks.com community / forum.

In their artistic crusade against narrow-minded absurdity and conceptual restrictions, Helalyn Flowers cry out loud for freshness and diversity. And as a result their sound is an exploding cocktail of Max and N0emi's wide range of influences: from Nu/Goth Metal, Industrial, Alternative, Dark Trip-Hop, Electronic and Synth / Future / Cold Pop. Their alienating attitude renders an innovative mix of powerful drum beats, heavy guitars, sensational female vocals, atmospheric orchestrations, odd synths, pulsating bass, dynamic trip-hop patterns, catchy refrains, acoustic intimacy and other digital asepsis.

By developing a strong and alluring imagery concept and merging apparently opposing genres, Helalyn Flowers are bound to become the leaders of a Nu-Electro Rock wave that will shake the foundations of all preconceived musical standards – let them be electro or metal.

Anticipating their eagerly waited debut-album “A Voluntary Coincidence”, the EP “Plaestik” reached the DAC charts and warmed the European clubs, already obtaining excellent consents from the main Alternative/Metal/Goth press, like German Zillo, Gothic and Sonic Seducer.

Helalyn Flowers for sure have something “extra” to offer to shake up the system and their debut album “A Voluntary Coincidence” is converting all hesitant ears with a more aggressive, catchy and synthetic musical approach than ever before and brought them at even higher levels of popularity, conquering important pages on Rock Sound UK and the first front-cover on Flash Magazine.

Actually, Helalyn Flowers are touring between Italy, UK and Germany as well as working on the second revealing album.
