When in the beginning of time, Heaven Denies was formed, the calendar showed it was a hot day in September 2006.

In this weary year, the three founders of the band started to write the tales that in their eyes should never wither on a piece of paper. They set out to create an epos of stories containing the very foundation of humankind and it's most brutal judgement: death.

Heaven Denies set out on a journey to find themselves a drummer. With no progress, the party summoned the help of the ancient spirits to create the ambience of the mighty war drums of Babylon. With this, they recorded their first demo, which was only available for streaming at their myspace page.

As they continued writing their epos, they were not satisfied with the war drums the ancients had given them. Again, Heaven Denies sought contact with the spirits and asked for a darker sound and their request was answered. These new war drums where included on their second demo they recorded, which carries the name ‘Sacred Sacrifice'.

These tales were recorded, just as their first attempt, in the lair of Mr. Kleiss.
