 GORYPTIC is born in September 2005 and takes over from Heresy because the members have decided to change their name further to the coexistence of several bands called Heresy . The line up remains unaltered. To get more information about Heresy and its past, check out Heresy’s biography.
This symbolizes an evolution of the band regarding the style too , more brutal death metal. Currently GORYPTIC is working on new stuff and starts play live again. The band shared the stage with Mesrine and will participate at the Skull Fucked Fest this year.
Under the name of Heresy, GORYPTIC’s members have made lot of gigs in France (Valenciennes, Lille, Calais) and in foreign parts (Mountains of Death in Switzerland in 2004) and played with bands like Spawn of Possession, Sinners Bleed, Despondency, Hour of Penance, Stump Fucking, Trepan Dead, Byatis (RIP) Disgust...
They have also recorded a split CD « Trepan Dead VS Heresy » in 2002, and then a MCD « Psychotic Carnage » in 2004 which enables them to appear on several compilations.
