On their third offering, XOTICA, Maria and Phil continue to raise the bar on their writing and performing. XOTICA takes Glass Wolfe in a more progressive direction, yet still keeping it's hard rock/metal edge. The material is more adventurous, with historical epics ("1000 Ships" and "Helen of Troy" - based on the famous Greek story, "Queen of Tragedy" - based on the life of Marie Antoinette, and "Rubicon" - based on a famous battle fought by Julius Caeser), hard rock tunes and ballads. XOTICA also features great guest stars, including Rudy Sarzo (DIO, Whitesnake, Ozzy, Quiet Riot), Chris Slade (AC/DC, Asia), Alex Masi, Neil Citron, Paul Daniels and others. Philip's immense keyboard talents are showcased on this CD and Maria debuts her high range soprano voice on a number of songs. XOTICA also features the amazing artwork of Ed Unitsky and exceptional photography of Stephen Manley.
