Genital Grinder was created in 1996 under the name of Abyss Gate. The band was playing at that time a kind of thrash-metal.
In june 1996 they made their first concert. Shortly after, the band decided to change of musical orientation for thrash/death in the veins of early Sepultura.

During sumer 1997, the turned changed definitively its name for Genital Grinder and started to compose Death/Grind Metal, influenced by bands such as Carcass, Brutal Truth or Cannibal Corpse.

During 2 years, Genital Grinder have made a lot of concerts in the Paris area and released their 2 first demos . The first one was captured during a live show and titled “Postmortem”... “Ettak At Snad” was the second and also the first studio experience for the band. Shortly after, the song “Nul à Chier”appeared on the underground compilation : Cocks & Cunts.

The band continued to play live and released another demo. "Cadaverous Orgasm" was released in may 2001.

In 2002, Genital Grinder recorded its debut album with the help of sound-engineer JB Rollin who has already produced some of their demo... and they finally joined the Adipocere's team during spring 2003.

Today, Adipocere is proud to present one of the most intense combo of the french capital. Powerfull riffs, blasting rythmics, mad vocalist shared with a furious sense of humour will shortly establish the band as one of the big hope of the french grind-death scene....
