The band comes from the ashes of “Blackestorm”, a Death/Black Metal band formed in 2003 by Simone (guitars), Andrea (Bass, Vocals), Diego (Drums) and Fabio (Guitars).

The leaving of Diego, later followed by Fabio caused the bands hiatus from music in the early months of 2005.
This break ended when Enrico joined the group behind the drums.

Due to changes within the band, Andrea made the decision to return to his original instrument, the guitar.
Along with Manuel, a temporary session-man on bass, the band played various live shows, including the well-known : “Roccolo Park Festival”, where they called themselves Cryptian.

The band was finally completed at the end of January 2006 with the addition of Riccardo on Bass.
Strengthened by the brands new line-up, the group began to built their musical repertoire becoming a cover band for Dissection, Death and Carcass.

In March 2007, they self-produced their first demo, “First Step To Nowhere” ; released at the end of July 2007.

By this time the band called themselves Forhekset.
