The band was formed in July 1997 with the initial line-up: Fulmineos (drums, bass, keyboards and vocals) and Tammuz (guitars and vocals).

After some rehearsals they released the first and only demo: "In my misanthropic kingdom", released by Dark Dreams Production in august 2000.

The raw sound exploring several avangardistic dimensions of black metal was pretty well received by the audience even if the whole product had an anticommercial attitudine.

After this moment Tammuz had less and less time to spend on Fogland so Fulmineos started looking for other members to share his ideas. First came Alteea (vocals and keyboards) and then Odhin (electric and acoustic guitars) and Erebus (bass).

After the consolidation of this line-up, resulted the debut CD entitled: "Znaman", 7 songs with a diverse sound this time into a more pagan approach released by Radical Conflict in 2002. Also the first live appearance was performed at the Apocaliptic Fest with local bands Grimegod and Makrothumia.

Then Alteea disappears somehow from town leaving the band members without any news, so Fulmineos is forced to look for another singer, Hedet beeing added to the line-up.
In all this time, Fulmineos records "Enuma Elish", with a special concept, in which the other band members participate into a more or less measure. The material is based on a soundtrack made for a theatre play directed by Dinu Bodiciu at Thespis Theatre in Timisoara, and was released also for Radical Conflict Production.

The next step was to record the new material, "Quasiascetica", and occasionally performing live at several concerts in Banatian area.
Also they managed to find a steady vocal Tiberius and several other session members: Isa-violin, Dark Raven-drums, Florin Turta-mandolin and various percussions, and the last but certainly not the least they manage to find another female voice in person of Cezara.

The year 2007 was not one of the best in the band’s history because the activity was reduced to minimum as the drummer, Dark Raven after a concert at the beginning of the year moved to London, England… so it was very hard to find a worth-person to replace his explosive style of playing drums.

Fulmineos talked to the old-founding member Tammuz to re-record the infamous debut material-demo “In My Misanthropic Kingdom”+ some un-released songs from that period. Also the actual members will participate in a more or less measures as the ideas will follow down. The material will be entitled ”Truvierii,inainte de amurg” and right now after a two-year delay the material is beeing recorded. It will be released in the begining of 2011.
