The idea of creating FAT WHITE CHIEFS was born in Pleven, Bulgaria in the early 2007. Guitarists Zhivko Nenkov and Ivan Maximov decided to create a band with an interesting and distinct sound. To do this they invited Atanass to take care of the vocal parts. Thereafter Ivaylo Tsenkov on bass guitar and Milen Kozov on drums joined the band. In 2008 FAT WHITE CHIEFS began it’s appearance on the bulgarian stage. The musicians start playing at music clubs and festivals, participate in several TV- and radio-shows, while they keep work on their basic idea to achieve their own emblematic sound. In late 2009 and early 2010 most of the material for a future album is already finished. The band participates in “Crossroads Festival” and “Rock Only Festival” with several own songs. In the early summer of 2010 FAT WHITE CHIEFS began recordings of their debut album “Of Sins And Passion”. The work took several months at their own “Expressive Art Studio”. The album was finished and came to life in the early December of 2010.
