FALL FROM REALITY was formed by a guitarist Cooper, vocalist Jack and drummer Batono in 2004 in Nizhny Novgorod. All musicians had a considerable studio and concert experience. The band's musical material tended to Scandinavian melodic death metal and sounded like Nightrage, Soilwork with breaks/breakbeat/bigbeat/drum'n'bass influences. For its comparatively short musical career the band has played plenty of gigs in Nizhny Novgorod, suburban towns and other cities of Russia. There were headlining shows as well as supporting acts. The band shared the stage both with such monsters as Rasta, Mortem, Alkonost, Forest Stream, Septicopyemia, Inexist, Forgive Me Not and quite prospective young bands as Meaning Beside, Spaint, Silence Dead, Fragile Art, Molecul. Inner Decay. The band made several tours the most remarkable of which was the one comprising 3 shows in support of the Finnish band Catamenia during their Russian tour. For its career the band has recorded the demo «Emptiness» dated to 2005 and the full length album «Withdrawal». The album featured the work of both Russian (Arkady Navaho, Navaho Hut Studio) and foreign (Dan Swano, Unisound Studio, Sweden) producers who have made their contributions to the recording. The album release was preceded by the contract with Chaotic Noiz Records, the division of one of the most major Russian record labels “Soyuz”. The album hit the stores on February 24, 2009. Presently the band is working on the material for the second album and plays shows in support of the fist record.
