Ethereal Blue's biography

Ethereal Blue is a band that performs atmospheric death metal music. They were formed in Ioannina Greece, during the first month of 2002. After rehearsing several times, they came up with the material that consists their debut demo-cd "A Mourning Ocean...". In that demo-cd the band consisted of Efthimis V. (vocals), Eleana V. (vocals), Fokion S. (guitars), George A. (guitars),Miltos D. (bass), Dimitris K. (drums), Stavros D. (keyboards and piano ) . During the fall of 2002 Eleana V. and Stavros D. left the band and Akis P. took position over the keyboards.

The "A Mourning Ocean..." demo-cd received pretty good reviews from several web and fan-zines and the Greek Metal Hammer as well. It also offered the band the chance to sign a contract with the French label DeadSun Records.

The band has performed several live shows, including support appearances to great bands, such as Arcturus, Moonspell, Rotting Christ, Septic Flesh, Naer Mataron.

On January 2005 Deadsun recs put out on market the band's debut full-length album called "Black Heart Process" , moving within more aggressive and intense paths and receiving more than encouraging feadback from the metal press worldwide. The music is the result of a unique apprehension and expression of the NWOSDM, the English gothic metal forms and the bitter aggression of the black metal genre.

This period Ethereal Blue are composing new material for an upcoming album and arranging live gigs across greece and Europe in order to promote their first discographic attempt the best possible way.
