Eikenskaden is a project of Stefan Kozak, who is also an ex-member of Azerlath and current member of The True Bolverk and Mystic Forest, and the band name means Oaken Shield. At some point the music of Eikenskaden and Mystic Forest was quite similar, but as years went by Eikenskaden turned more into a raw Black Metal band, whereas classical elements became a big part of the Mystic Forest music.
