    2002:
On August 19th, 2002 the new album "Fight" is released and it bears its title with justification. Doro has once again come up with an offering full of female power and musical expressiveness that consits of as many stories as the songs. The Metal Queen recorded the songs with her band practically in a live atmosphere at the Soundmine Recording Studios in Pennsylvania. “As powerful as possible, as natural as necessary,” was the motto which the production team had in mind. Among the tracks is the album’s title track Fight, which was recorded for female German boxer Regina Halmich, Salvaja with its chorus in Spanish and Descent which is a duet with Type O Negative’s Peter Steele. After a successful signing tour the band went on tour, which led them to almost every part of the world (including Australia and Asia).

    2003:
After almost two years of touring Doro and her band celebrated her 20th stage anniversary in Düsseldorf, Germany on December 13th, 2003. Fans from all over the world came to join this great concert and to support the Queen of Metal Rock and her brilliant guests (among them UDO, Blaze Bailey, Lemmy and Mickey Dee from Motörhead to name but a few). Shortly before this great concert the very first DVD called Doro – Für Immer is released which contains a full length show at Balve, Germany (recorded in a real cave), cool interviews and tons of great backstage material of Doro and her band.

    2004:
Doro is back in the studio to record a very special album for her fans. She signed a contract with German record label AFM Records and immediately starts working on her new project. In 2003 she played a remarkable show with the “Classic Night Orchestra Bochum” in Bochum, Germany and now the brilliant work shall be released on a record. The album is released on September 20th and is highly welcomed by fans and critics alike. The record presents hymns from 20 years Doro & Warlock in a new robe. Additionally the CD includes new songs which were especially composed for this project. Doro and the orchestra start a tour in October but before their own shows start, they present their project exclusively at the anniversary show at the Wacken Open Air in northern Germany. After the Classic Diamonds Tour 2004 a new DVD called Classic Diamonds – The DVD is released.

    2005:
Doro starts working on her new album

    2006:
The new Doro album “Warrior Soul” is released via AFM Records and it carries on the spirit of the old Warlock times and adapts it to the current times. And times have seldom been better for Doro: several TV gigs have underlined the enormous status of the Metal Queen. The success with the EP “In Love And Friendship” (4 weeks in the German Top 100) honoured somebody who truly deserves it.

But confidence of success has never been a reason for the natural Fighter to rest. Doro would not be Doro, if she had not put all of her heart and energy into “Warrior Soul”. Once again she had to go a long way. It has leaded her from the already familiar Yellohouse Studio in Wuppertal (Germany), the Atom-H-Studios and the cooperation with Chris Lietz and Torsten Sickert to the Switzerland where she worked together with Deezl Imhof (Foolpark Studios) and film director Luke Gasser. A great number of future hits have been developed on her journey as for example “Stranger's Yesterday”, “Above The Ashes” or “You're My Family” which is dedicated to the many true Doro Fans. The Metal Queen has herself very special feelings for the album which she has not experienced anymore for a long time. “It's such an extremely strong feeling” she explains “It's just overwhelming.”

The album was finally mixed by Deezl and the new Yorker Metal Mike Goldberg who have put the finishing touches on it. “Warrior Soul” is not only the name of the album but it was also done with all soul of a true warrior.

With the Swiss Luke Gasser she already collaborated ahead of the album for a film production: “Anuk – Der Weg Des Kriegers” (Anuk – The Warrior's Way) in which Doro can be seen in her first acting role and for which she sings the title song of the soundtrack “Warrior Soul”.

In spring 2006 Doro starts her Warrior Soul World Tour. She plays live all across Europe and even visits South America for some gigs. All the shows have been sold out and so the tour continues in autumn. AFM Records even release the new album in a totally new version and a Live DVD of the current tour is also included in this special package. Die-Hard Fans can even buy an exclusive “Warrior Soul Fan Box” which is limited to a 1,000 copies and full of great surprises for the Fans.
