Devouring Hatred born in February 2007 when Stefano ''SRC'' Rossi Ciucci (bass), Luca Boldrini (guitar) and Stefano ''CorpSegoD'' Fantini (guitar) decided to join forces and create a project oriented to brutal-death. At first the band started out as a studio band, but then things changed with the entry into the line-up of Federico ''Midgard'' Marcantoni on drums, already in T.E.R. (death metal from Terni, a well known band who made several promos and a full length) and C.Beatrice ''bitygore'' Booker on vocals, that had already collaborated with Stefano Rossi Ciucci in another band called Noxious Vermin. The Band, still nameless, start to train with cover also to get harmony into the band, but soon focuses on the composition of its songs with the contribution of all members, the first song was O.G.M., then Devour-Me and later Neuralgia. The band style it's strongly influenced by the sound of American and European brutal-death scene. The band finally decided its name, and play its first live gig, integrating some cover. The debut of the band was organized by Centro Dentro (Perugia), for the gig two of the most important bands of the Italian brutal scene were invited to play: Hour of Penance and Septycal Gorge, and Gunja (a local death-core band) were also added. The concert collected a huge success and allows Devouring Hatred to be known by Perugia's metal scene. After this exhibition two more were made, with Alchemy of Silence (Full Metal Collestrada fest) and Firbholg (Between-yes-less-fest). Devouring Hatred continue the songwriting and start to record their promo at B.P.A. Studio with Francesco ''Riga'' Riganelli. Recordings were done during the summer and the work was completed at the end of October. The promo contains the first three songs composed and an intro. Francesco Paoli, singer of Hour of Penance and Fleshgod Apocalypse, appears as a guest vocalist on Neuralgia. Currently Devouring Hatred are organizing live shows to support the release of the promo.
