Biography : Desilence

The Metal band DESILENCE from Berlin exists in its present constitution since the year 2000. It counts five members: Peter Geltat (guitars), Thomas Neitsch (bass guitar), Felix Gretzer (guitars), Andreas Jechow (drums) and Hagen Hirschmann (vocals). The average age is 24. All musicians have gained certain experiences concerning live and studio performing in the past (e.g. as supporting acts for bands like CRYPTOPSY, WALTARI, SINISTER and DYING FETUS).

Felix Gretzer and Hagen Hirschman are members of LOGAR'S DIARY, a Power Metal band that will release a second album called "Book 2: The Forgotten City" in summer 2004. Peter Geltat played guitars on SINNERS BLEEDS (brutal technical Death Metal from Berlin) latest release "From Whomb To Tomb".

Friendship is the fundament for the musical cooperation, while everyone tries to keep a straight way of working and developing.

The music ranges between harder styles of Metal. The huge spectrum of musical preferences denies more exact categorisations. DESILENCE want to combine technical orientation and catchy hooklines and are looking forward to please the listener by musical alternation.

In 2002, a video clip for "Life Run" was shot and in late 2003 the band finished a 6-track-demo, which should convey a representative impression of DESILENCE's sound.
