Demonia Mundi’s project begins in 1996 on the singer Daemonia’ s initiative. The idea was to draw inspiration from the early Death SS, who combined not only an enjoyable, evocative and ceremonial music with esoteric meanings conveyed through lyrics, but permeated the whole disc with an extreme charge of insanity through subliminal magical actions. Demonia Mundi choose to take on the same purposes; not just as a band, but as a specific message spreading institution, which becomes their ultimate .. our concerts prerogatives are theatricality and rite’s execution. In 1997 the first demo “From the deep … ”whose sonorities are very classical and rock styled is recorded, excepting nearly black metal track “My crying queen”. In 1999 the line-up gets a partial change and a second demo “In Daemonia um Nocte” is recorded. That’s the insane and catchy, liturgical and seventies styled result wanted since the beginning. After the recording phase the group dissolved and reformed a year later. Noxifer on drums and Morlock on the guitar join in the reconstituted band structure, with additions and collaborations with various elements. In 2006 Demonia Mundi get to their stability point through definitive joining of B3ast666 on the bass guitar and Uw on the keyboards. Their music has evolved towards more extreme spheres and more technical performances, though it stays true with the original intention.
