Biography Cacophony
Cacophony was formed in USA in 1986 by the two technically skilled guitarists Marty Friedman and Jason Becker (Becker was only 16 at this time). They were quickly picked up by the label Shrapnel Records who released their debut album "Speed metal symphony" in 1987. The band only released one more album before disbanding in 1990 after Jason Becker had been diagnosed with ALS (Lou Gehrig's disease). Inbetween the two albums both Friedman and Becker released one solo album each.
