Biography : Blustery Caveat

BLUSTERY CAVEAT was formed in early winter of 2002 by George Trakas (drums) and Zachos Karabasis (guitars) in Larissa (GREECE). Influenced by bands like HATEPLOW, SEVERE TORTURE, HATE ETERNAL, DYING FETUS and more, their intention was to play Brutal Death Metal. They started writing material and rehearsed a lot to work on it. They didn't care for cover songs at the time as they were not a complete band. That was until the year of 2003 when three new members came to join them. Chris Trakas (bass), Nick Dablias (vocals), and Tasos Margonis (guitars). With that line up they kept writing songs and rehearsing when in the spring of 2004 Tasos Margonis pulled out of the band because of his studies. The rest decided to go on as a four member band and in October of the same year they made their first live performance in Larissa as a support act for ROTTING CHRIST. Two gigs followed. One in Larissa again and one in Thessaloniki. In May of 2005, BLUSTERY CAVEAT entered the studio and by June of the same year their debut demo was out.
In may 2007, and after the drummer's military service was over, they recorded two songs for the "CORPORAL PUNISHMENT" 7", which releashed in september by FLEGETHON PRODUCTIONS. The band played some more shows and in 2008 recorded the debut full length album "PAYBACK IN BRUTALITY" which was released from REVENGE PRODUCTIONS. In october 2008 the band played at LUDWIGSHAFEN DEATHFEST as a five member band with new second guitarist Stefanos Koutsomarkos who played with the band for almost one year till 2009 when he left for personal reasons.
