Biography : Black Tooth (IRL)

In the peaceful green countryside of Loughrea which is a source and inspiration for the music, Black Tooth was formed in August 2005 by drummer Adrian O Rourke and guitarist Albert Quinn. Conor Foley, Tagdh McMurrow and David Quinn shortly joined after. We starting gigging in 2006 at various venues around the Loughrea area.. We soon broke into the Galway city scene playing locally around The Cellar, Roisin Dubh and Sally Longs. Gigs followed in Dublin's Fibber Magees and received rave reviews on Phantom Fm for 'The Eye' which was recorded as part of a 4 track demo in March 2008 at Wild Island recording studios. Other airplay received also on London's BLIP Fm. Recently received our first critic review which is on our blog page. 2010 will see booked dates in Limerick and Dublin so far and also the recording, releasing and marketing of a 5-6 track EP and a lot more to come from this music loving 5 piece who dont have a specific genre as we like to interwieve different styles of music.. Broaden your horizons so to speak. Future plans involve a relocation to the United States so anyone reading this get in touch.
