Biography : Berserk (ESP)

Berserk was born under the name of Abaddon and the initial members were Forjstorm (guitar), LordMonk (bass), Frozen Wind (drums) and Gog (vocals and guitar).
Some months later, in November of 1998, joined a new member, Obitus (synthesizers). Then we decided to change the name by the actual, Berserk, because this is more appropriate for our pagan ideals.

In December of 1999, we recorded our first demo called "Return of the Ancient Laws", that it is formed by four songs and it was composed in honour to our culture and to our roots.

The demo has been distributed by Europe, and the comments have been very good. In June of 2000, Gog was expeled, and then Nazak joined us as new vocalist. On summer of 2000, we inited the recording of our second work (First CD) "...From the Celtiberian Woods", that was released by Oaken Shield (France), subdivision of Adipocere Records. Berserk played in 27 October of 2001 in Madrid with Carpathian Forest and Behemoth in the Act of Rebellion tour, being Menar the guitar session.

In July of 2002, Berserk recorded the new album called "Rites Of Supremacy" in the Artica Studios of Ciudad Real. The artist "Abigor" worked in the great artwork of the new CD. Obitus left the band in October of this year. Oaken Shield and Adipocere Rec. has released the new CD of Berserk in July of 2003.

The lyrics of Berserk deal about the fight against the christianity, being based upon the predominant cultures in Celtiberia, before the invader's arrival.
