Биография : Belphegor (AUT)

BELPHEGOR emerges as one of the most extreme line ups to ever come out of the death black metal scene. The band members themselves describe their hellride as "Supreme Death/Black Metal Art”.

Since 1992, these Austrians have established a committed fan base thanks to three excellent full length releases, The last supper (1995 on Lethal Records), Blutsabbath (1997 on Last E. Records) and the highly acclaimed Necrodaemon terrorsathan (2000 on Last E. Records).
BELPHEGOR's release, Necrodaemon terrorsathan, featured nine tracks and presented a fast and brutal attack, technical prowess, and a most brutal sound, neatly packaged in blasphemous art.

In 2003, BELPHEGOR returned with their fourth diabolical masterpiece to once again prove that they indeed belong at the pinnacle of the infernal death metal genre. Lucifer Incestus took no prisoners in its high-speed and astoundingly precise execution. Like a tank plundering out of the loudspeakers, it offered a colossal production, track for track, at the hands of Alex Krull. The 8-track sound extravaganza received abundant praise from both press and fans alike for its infernal brutality and the unique mix of death and black metal.

In May of the following year, BELPHEGOR toured through Europe in support of the album.

Goatreich-Fleshcult will be released on Napalm Records on 28 Feb. 2005 as both a regular jewel case and a limited 6-page digipack including bonus track. It boasts of an amazing production and presents a further developed BELPHEGOR. Along with the typical aggressive blasts, one can also find a monstrous Death Metal Doom masterpiece, entitled “Sepulture of Hypocrisy”, that climaxes to an unimaginable intensity.

Goatreich-Fleshcult may be describe as the most varied BELPHEGOR opus to date, in which both its lyrics and layout are even more morbid than in the past. BELPHEGOR have gathered their experience and know-how of the last ten years and packed them into Goatreich-Fleshcult...
