Backbone is formed in august 2004. Band is from Serbia. Our main idea was, and still is, to create something new in the world of music.
In novembar of 2006. we have signed our first contract for our first album called "Two sides" with Automatik (Mascom) records. Two Sides was recorded in "PARADOX" studio in Smederevo, produced by Srđan and Mikica Brankovic.
From the beginning the band was facing towards the copyright work. In this starting period arise song "Shadows" and "Waking" (which will later be found in "Two Sides" in). After more than a month the band entered first Vladimir Ilic (guitar, the band got the name) and Nemanja Mirkovic (vocals).

After a few months of training and the creation of new songs ( "Boneless freak show, Strain, Street "...) Backbone held its debut performance in a rock club," Jack "(Petrovac na Mlavi). That year, the band mostly performed in the same club. Year ending participation in the Masters Tournament Demo 202-ke. By the end of 2005. Backbone is the repertoire of copyright and 7 had 20-odd songs processed bands Korn, Dry Kill Logic, Nirvana, Sepulura and TD.
At the beginning of 2006. comes to radical changes in the band. Former drummer Nenad Miljkovic Stojićević replace Zeljko and from that moment Backbone starts with a lot of serious work. After only a few months was followed by gigs in Belgrade, Pancevo, Petrovac and the creation of Songs, "Crying Walls," "Right Road", "Last Days", "Breathe" group processing "Prodigy" and later "Master of Nothing" and "Full of Anger. " Also are prearanžirane already existing songs.
In May 2006. Backbone for the first time into the studio ( "Paradox") where he recorded 6 songs, and the first half of the album. After a successful recording followed concerts in Petrovac (one of them were performed with the band Alogia) and performance in 1 / 2 final 40th Gitarijada where they played songs Crying Walls, Nameless and the Right Road.
In September, the band finished recording the album "Two Sides" Paradox in the studio and then recorded their first video for the single "Crying Walls. The video has been realized by the teams Highlander video.
As the culmination of years followed the signing of a contract with record label Automatik records (Mascom) 13 November 2006.

Since October 2008. Backbone performance as a quartet, because Antic Milan left the band.

In preparing the second album by the band's Backbone (working title "In Between"). Filming is scheduled for May 2009. in Smederevo study "paradox" in which the band recorded their first album "Two Sides"
The album will contain several songs in the Serbian language, including the song "rusty century" which will be published before the metal compilation "brutal dobronamernici" creator of the project is a poet and music critic Milan B.
