The concept of the band was born by Thurios and Khorus back in 1996. ASTROFAES is not project of Nokturnal Mortum. Same year they recorded "Ad Infinitum" demo. Some time later the line-up was extended and the band released live demo "The Attraction: Heavens & Earth (live)" based on one of their gigs recording.

In autumn of 1997 ORIANA Prod. releases first bands studio album "The Attraction: Heavens & Earth".

In summer of 1998 ASTROFAES recorded 2nd album "Dying Emotions Domain" that was released by ORIANA Prod. and was later re-released by PUSSY GOD Rec. Both releases were in MC format.

Through out these years the band follows the concept of resurrection of Spirit Of Slavonic Lands and pride for honor and blood of our ancestors. Each and every song is fulfilled with atmosphere of mighty Nature and everlasting Universe. Album "The Eyes Of The Beast" is dedicated to forests and marshes, steppes and rivers and also to all secrets hidden from eyes of descendants by Abyss of millenniums.

By winter 2001 "The Eyes Of The Beast" is being the latest release of the band. It was recorded in winter of 2000. MC format was released by ORIANA Prod.

In the middle of 2000 ASTROFAES got offer from CHANTELOUP CREATION Prod. of releasing "Dying Emotions Domain" on CD that was released in the beginning of 2001.

At the end of spring 2001 the band has completed recording at once of two new albums "Heritage" and "Ancestors' Shadows", which one prolong ...the way of heart to inherit the glory... In the beginning of summer 2002 this albums is release on Kolovorot Prod./Ancient Nation Prod. (MC format)

In the middle of 2002 ASTROFAES got offer from ECLIPSE Prod. of releasing "Ancestors' Shadows" on CD that was released October 15, 2002.

CD "Heritage" was released on NYKTA Prod. in November, 2002

In winter of 2003 ADIPOCERE Rec. released CD "The Eyes Of The Beast".

In the spring 2003 the group receives the offer from AUTISTIARTILI Rec. (Canada) on release of a material on CD. Was offered the album " The Attraction : Heavens and Earth " which released very much limited edition on tapes. The label has agreed, and the disk should release in the winter 2004.

In the summer 2003 by group it is made a decision on re-release " The Attraction: Heavens and Earth " in the MC-format on own label STUZA Prod. And September, 1 released 1000 tapes.

During this time ASTROFAES makes efforts for search of label which would issue albums of group on vinyl. And French label AURA MYSTIC Prod. agrees to release of all albums. Vinyl released in the spring of 2004.

During second half of February - the beginnings of March, 2004 ASTROFAES recorded the new album " :Those Whose Past Is Immortal ".

In the beginning of summer of 2004 the German label OBSCURE ABHORRENCE issues vinyl " The Attraction: Heavens And Earth ". This vinyl includes an additional song " Celestial Wolves ", recorded in May, 2004.
