Amenti formed in 2003 (12.12.) and hailing from the city of Gomel, Belarus, this young group took their name from "Dead Book" and
means "Underworld". The founding members Palanchuk Evgeny (guitars), Karpovich Vitali (vocals), Potashkin Alexander (guitars),
Titov Andrey (bass), Kravchenko Victor (drums) soon found elements of melodic - death metal creeping into their music with
influence of such bands like Dark Tranquility and In Flames. After taking in keyboardist Kovalchuk Ivan to complete their line-up.

In August of 2005 the band recorded "Into The Killing Shadow" song for the first collection
"Центр Тяжести",
which was released in November of 2005.

October 16th Amenti rerecorded "Shade Of Red" for the second collection "Центр Тяжести - 2".

From November 11th Amenti started to record the first album, which will be released in the end of 2007.
The album name is "An Angel Dies in my Eyes".
