Alasthor was born from the meeting of Lord Drakonith and Warmachine.
The past of Warmachine as drummer in death-black metal bands such as « Punishment » and « Baptism in fire » quickly brought them to black metal again. But this time, they want to combine speed, yelling vocals and a musical quality more pushed as regards the melody aspect of the compositions.

The vocation of Alasthor is to propose a black metal of quality impresses of intense emotions which translate the chaotic vision of the world the band has.

In the Alasthor lyrics, one defends chaos, one celebrates it. The twilight is described, it is shown that the light will die out forever to leave the place to chaos and darkness. And it's from this darkness that will be born the beauty from emptiness! We want that people include/understand, whether they like or not, what are hell and chaos seen by our eyes: Hell, suffering, absolute but structured chaos, a structure captive of herself, regression ad infinitum.

Alasthor did many concerts in Belgium and France with many good bands : Enthroned, In-Quest, Warage, Cirith Gorgor, Nirnaeth, Eithel Sirion, Livor Mortis, …

Currently, the Alasthor prepares to record its first album which should be available to the end of the year 2007.

Alasthor wants to do many concerts and remains open to all the proposals.
