At the end of 1994, a couple of friends came up with the idea to start a metalband.

And that's how our story begins…In 1995 Aetherium was a fact. Two years later there was a stable line-up (Christel: guitar; Bie: guitar; Joel: bass/vocals; Gert: keyboards; Jan: drums) we could play gigs with. After recording a rehearsal tape in 1998 some of the original members left the band.

In 2003 we had a new line-up (Bie: guitar; Sven: guitar; Joel: bass/vocals; Dave: drums) and recorded a new rehearsal CD.

Several gigs later we changed the line-up again (Kristel: vocals; Bie: guitar; Jannick: guitar; Joel: bass/vocals; Dave: drums) to record our first CD-demo which saw the light in 2007.
