Formed in late 2006 this young band from Randers (Denmark) have already gained much appreciation and respect in Danish underground playing gigs as supporting acts such Still Unsigned, Invisius, Hell Inc. etc. Now the band is finally ready with their debut three track demo recorded in 2007 in CB Studios. Clear as the Dark is the title of this demo, maybe not the most original one but the music is good. Actually it more than well executed piece of melo-death metal. It is melodic, yet fast and brutal. All three tracks are aggressive with tremendous power, grooves and solos. It is a very interesting concept, reminding me of some of the bands coming from our neighbouring Sweden. Demo is only app. 13 minutes long which kind of explains why it never really tends to get boring or monotonous listening to this release. The production part is one the other hand a bit ‘dirty' and unclear, but after a little bit of adjustment one gets used to it and it is acceptable having in mind it is death metal. In general the music is right-up-your-face, direct and brutal and any fan of modern death metal will dig this CD forever. A true masterpiece in Danish underground and having in mind that the guys are really young I predict them long life on the stages around our little kingdom and the rest of the Europe. Definitely worth listening to more than once.
