While a lot of other bands fade in years, after over 20 years on the scene, in my eyes (or should I say ears) Sathanas are still flourishing and getting stronger.

Nightrealm Apocalypse brings you great blackened death metal with elements of thrash. Simple guitar riffs with catchy phrases, precise mid tempo drumming and warm bass lines together with Paul's demonic screams form the dark atmosphere, worthy of Hell itself. Another thing about Paul's vocals: though really strong and raw, It is nice to hear almoust every last word of the lyrics (in many cases today, that is not so).... The lyrical message of Sathanas is really quite clear: bring forth the hordes of Hell and destroy all that is sacred.
The production of Nightrealm Apocalypse is a lot better than some of the old albums, but they still manage to keep that old school underground sound somehow.

I will not make any comparisments with other bands, also, I can't rate this album with numbers... I will just say this: get this album, you won't regret it !
