This has to be one of the UK's leading female fronted Metal acts!
Not willing to be thrown in with the Nightwish-alikes, this is heavier fayre, with multi-tempoed gems that catch the listener off-guard with unexpected time changes and vocal lines. In an ever-striving-to-be-Evanescence (why??) genre, this band really ARE trying to be different - reminiscent of Angtoria with elements of Sinergy through to Deathlike Silence, but with an element I just can't put my finger on...
OK, the vocalist has a proven track record with the Medieaval Beabes, but (with admirable support from members of Descent) it's about time one of these fine singers gave us a Metal band the UK a band we can be proud of!! Also Track Nine features Bryan Blessed!!! THE Bryan Blessed! Every great Metal CD should have added Bryan Blessed! Though unfortunately he doesn't manage to squeeze in a 'Gordon's Alive', we just have to console ourselves with the rest of this great Metal CD!
