It's necessary to say not to get carried away with this release. At the end, Malummeh is playing some metalcore and nothing more. Why complicating the whole with a doubtful description which obviously only aims at blowing one’s own horn. But let’s forget about that. It’s nevertheless Finnish so let’s hope the album is as good as its illustre precedecors.

This Revival shows all the elements which will please fans. Heavy riffs which will kill your neck, pretty melodic refrains and a devorous energy. Beyond that, there’s not much to say. Not true in fact : I find the jacket very nice.
Jokes apart, one must recognize that the band being Finnish has indeed an obvious impact on its ‘sic. When listening to this album, one can’t really make a mistake when gessing where it comes from. Nevertheless, it manages to amaze us once more. This is maybe due to the so-typical cristalline and powerful sound. Or it’s maybe coming from the amazing skill Finnishs have to invent catchy and never-boring melodies. Well, not always ‘never-boring melodies’ because Malummeh sometimes develops staffs a little excessive, but globally it’s ok.
No real need to write down pages about that album which simply doesn’t have any big defaults and any big qualities. It’s an album which is in the general trend of what is currently released with this nice little Nordic aspect as a bonus.

Here is probably an album that won’t mark its time even if it has some real interesting aspects. Nice to listened to, it should easily finds its little place in your record library.
